01Who can use the platform

The study material is open to anyone with an account. Competitions are open to students enrolled in a school in Lebanon, or Lebanese students abroad, who meet the age and grade rules published for each olympiad.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. We ask for a guardian's name and contact details when you apply to a competition for that reason.

02Your account

One account per person, in your own name. You are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to cheat, or that is used to harass other members.

03Competitions

The qualifying round is sat on the platform in a supervised centre. You may only start it with the entry code shown in the room, and only during your booked slot.

During an exam you may not communicate with anyone, use any material or device other than what the invigilator allows, or attempt to copy, record, or distribute the questions.

Cheating, or helping someone else to cheat, disqualifies you from the current cycle and may disqualify you from future ones. Decisions on results and appeals are made by the olympiad's organisers and are final.

04Membership

Membership of the association is separate from having a platform account. It is open to anyone over 18 and carries an annual fee published on the membership page. Membership gives voting rights in the association and lets you volunteer, coach, and help run the olympiads.

05Content

The syllabus, practice problems, solutions, and past papers on the platform belong to LASO or are used with permission. You may use them for your own study. You may not republish them, sell them, or use them to build another service without our written agreement.

What you post in the forum stays yours. By posting it you let us display it on the platform. Keep it civil and on topic; we remove posts that are not.

06Availability and liability

We do our best to keep the platform running, but it is provided as is, and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, LASO is not liable for losses arising from its use or unavailability.

07Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. If a change matters, we will say so on the platform before it takes effect.
